The Kennebec River in Maine offers whitewater rafting adventure for fanatics to families. As we enter the steep granite walls of the Kennebec Gorge large waves can be seen ahead. From this point on the Kennebec River plunges 12 miles through a spectacular gorge with crashing class III – IV wave rapids like “Big Mama”, “Whitewasher” and “The Alleyway”. The high point of the day is the run through class IV Magic Falls. We stop briefly at the Middle River access point to pick up younger passengers. Class III + rapids continue through out the day. There is plenty of time for swimming and enjoying the river including stopping along the river bank where your guides cook up a steak and chicken barbeque.

Come and join us for one of the most thrilling rafting trips in Maine. On four date through out the season. The Harris Dam on the Kennebec River releases the maximum release 8000 cfs. This release flood the Kennebec Gorge creating large waves and holes. The wave “Big Mama” can reach heights of 15+’. The highlight of the day is dropping into “Maytag” a huge hole in MAgic Rapid that generally stands up or flips every other raft. The river is warm and the waves are huge. What mor could you ask for?

Maine Kennebec River 2 Day Super Trip!
 Two days, of fun and adventure, inflatable kayaking, rafting, and a float plane moose safari.
On the first day, we funyak (inflatable kayak) the challenging class II and III whitewater rapids on the Middle Kennebec River. Along the trip we stop for a deli lunch and a hike to MOXIE FALLS Maine’s highest waterfall. After the day on the Middle Kennebec River we return to Lake Moxie Camps. Next we board a float plane for a moose safari and scenic tour of the Lake Moxie area. You will see Moxie Falls from the air, the Appalachian Mountains and maybe the mighty Maine Moose. The second day of this Maine adventure we raft the thundering class IV+ whitewater rapids of the Kennebec Gorge! Kennebec Super Trip – $345.00 per person
