Special high water dam releases create 16 miles of continuous class III – V whitewater rapids. This rafting trip is fun, fast and furious.  Rapids build as the day progressess with big class IV hits awaiting at “The Mine Field” “Elaphant Rock” and “Humpty Dumpty” The wilderness setting is outstanding and we finish the day on the class IV+ mile long rapid called ” Poplar Hill Falls”.  The scenary and the rapids  make the Dead River one of New England’s premier whitewater runs.

Minimum age is 14 Check in time 8:30 am includes sizzling barbecue lunch!

The Dead River is 16 miles of continuous fun class II and class III whitewater rapids.  We stop along the river for picnic lunch.
