Lake Moxie Camps is located on beautiful 9 mile Lake Moxie. It is one of Maine's
oldest sporting camps. Lake Moxie Camps offers comfortable lakeside cabins, lake house rentals,
platform tents lakeside camping and a comfortable lodge . Moxie Outdoor
Adventures and Lake Moxie Camps are located in the heart of Maine's great
wilderness. We
provide you with free canoe and kayak rentals to enjoy the lake. Our lodge and screened in porch are open
all night. The Camp is just minutes from Moxie Falls, Wyman Lake, Moosehead
Lake, Greenville Maine and the Appalachian trail. Staying with us on the
Lake Moxie allows you to enjoy the Maine you have been looking for. Moxie
Lake offers excellent fishing for Maine salmon or trout. Wildlife abounds
and it is quite common to se loons, eagles and the mighty Maine Moose . One of the best reasons to stay at Lake Moxie Camps is its
convenience to both the Kennebec and Dead Rivers for whitewater rafting.
Moxie Outdoor Adventures is only eight miles from the launch for the
Kennebec River and a short drive to the Dead River. This allows you a
leisurely morning prior to your raft trip. No 7:30 trip check in times at
Lake Moxie Camps.

The Outpost Lodges
 The Outpost is a cozy lodge nestled in a wilderness town of Northern Maine and lies on the Dead River, just 1/2 mile from it's confluence with the Kennebec River. The Outpost is available by the room or the entire lodge, sleeps up to 20 people. We have rooms suited for couples with private baths upstairs and rooms for singles downstairs.
Enjoy sitting on the porch gazing at the serene river...cuddle up with a book or movie from our extensive video collection...enjoy a White Water Rafting trip...an ATV Tour...learn to Kayak...go Fishing...or go Hunting. Evenings are spent at the campfire, under the pines, sharing stories and recounting the day's highlights. The choice is all yours!
