Raft Guides: In Maine and Massachusetts
WHITEWATER GUIDE SCHOOL 2011 Raft guides school starts May 21st – 27th tuition: $275.00
We are always looking for full and part whitewater rafting guides in Maine and Massachusetts. No previous whitewater experience is necessary, but outdoor recreation skills are preferred. Whitewater rafting trips are run on the Kennebec, Dead and Penobscot Rivers in Maine and the Deerfield River in western Massachusetts. The Season runs May – October. A Commercial Whitewater guides licenses is required to guide in Maine. There is no licenses required to guide in Massachusetts. All guides are required to have current CPR and first aide. We conduct a State of Maine certified Commercial Whitewater Guides School in Maine. This seven day course is a requirement of the State of Maine to take your Maine Whitewater Rafting Guides test. Completion of the guides school and all other application procedures will provide the necessary requirements for hire. We will then conduct an interview. Campground Manager
Moxie Outdoor Adventures and Lake Moxie Camps is looking for a highly motivated self starter to run the daily operation of our campground and cabins. This is a salaried position and includes room and some board. Applicants should be 18 years of age or older, possess a valid driver’s license, and excellent customer service skills . This position is from late May through September. Full time hours vary day and evenings. Position requires lifting and carrying.

Housekeeping
Moxie Outdoor Adventures and Lake Moxie Camps is looking for a highly motivated self starter to assist in the daily house keeping operations. This position includes light housekeeping. Applicants should be over 16 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, excellent cleaning skills, organizational and customer service skills. This position is from May to October. Full time or part time. Hours vary from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and requires lifting and carrying. Print this application.
Office Assistant – part time
We are looking for several qualified individuals to assist in our reservations office. Duties include answering the phone, data entry, credit card processing and general customer service. Computer experience preferred. Part-time and full-time positions starting in April and May in The Forks, Maine. Print this application.
Kitchen Staff – full and part-time
Moxie Outdoor Adventures and Lake Moxie Camps provide lunches to all its customers participating in activities. We also offer breakfast and dinner plans at Lake Moxie Camps. Our commercial kitchen is seeking a motivated, professional individual who can help prepare these meals, prep food, ordering, and maintain kitchen and dining room. The positions requires a minimum age of 18 years and is available May to October. Experience is not necessary, but helpful. Print this application.
